PATROL READER with base, for guard

Form

Patrol reader, with base, used to validate the passage of a watchman. The article is composed of:

  • 1 round controller, without contact, battery powered, waterproof
  • 1 communication interface base, without contact, with USB cable
  • 20 control badges without contact, waterproof
  • 1 software

Fit

The patrol reader requires a computer as a reading interface for the person in charge of supervising the execution of the rounds and the control of the active monitoring of the site.

Function

The tool records the performance of guard patrols by making use of pre-defined checkpoints.

Used to supervise the execution of rounds or inspection by a staff, the system records the passage of a person at a given point at a given moment. In the case of guards, the goal is to prevent risks such as theft, intrusion, fire, traffic in restricted areas, etc. by marking the areas and sensitive places to check regularly:

  • doors to keep shut
  • places at risk of fire starting
  • openings on the outside
  • the parking
  • the water reserve
  • the invisible back of a building
  • a closing angle that allows you to see a site in its entirety

Checkpoints define the walkway. At each checkpoint, the guard presents the badge in front of a controller to validate his passage. At the end of the visit, the recorded points are downloaded to the computer via the interface database and the software.

The reader indicates if a control was missed, the duration of the round, etc. The objective is to facilitate and strengthen active site monitoring. Measuring performance allows you to adjust or establish new procedures: reduce round time, increase frequency, etc.

Possible applications:

  • Control of rounds (guarding, patient monitoring)
  • Course inspections: maintenance, installation control
  • Product expiration control (fire extinguishers) - Maintenance check
