Definition
The blood collection monitor is an electromechanical device intended to maintain blood homogeneity through a continuous rocking motion during blood donation.
As blood is drawn from the blood donor and runs into the blood bag, the device is weighing and mixing the collected blood, monitoring the blood flow and stops the collection when the target volume is reached. The device is compatible with different types and brands of blood bags.
