Therapeutic Action

Cardioselective beta-blocker

Indications

Hypertension and chronic stable angina pectoris

Stable chronic heart failure in combination with a converting enzyme inhibitor (enalapril)

Instructions for use

To be taken in morning with or without food. Do not chew.

Bisoprolol replaces atenolol.

The 10 mg tablets (quadrisected tablets) replace the 5 mg tablets.

Precautions for Use

Contraindicated in asthmatic patients.
