Antiprotozoal, antibacterial

Indications

Severe infections due to anaerobic bacteria (Bacteroides sp, Clostridium sp, etc.)

Prophylaxis of post-operative infections in surgery

Instructions for use

Must be given as IV infusion.

Metronidazole is as effective by oral route as by parenteral route.
