MEDICATION TROLLEY

Definition

A small cart used within a healthcare facility for the distribution of medicines to the patients. This trolley (cart) typically has many lockable drawers/storage compartments and a writing surface.

Technical specifications

  • Monobloc structure for increased strength.
  • Material: structure in epoxy enamelled steel or 18/8 stainless steel. Washable and resistant to chlorine for disinfection
  • With locking system: central point locking secures all bins and drawers into place
  • Bumper frame with 4 corner bumpers.
  • Castors: full swivel , Ø100 - 125 mm. 2 with brakes.
  • Painted steel top rail/push handle.
  • 2 deep drawers for extra storage (infusion bags or medical devices)
  • With removable bins for holding individual medication: 30 removable, labelled compartments (disposable and removable labels to identify patient and bed nr)
  • The worktop has a lip to contain spillage, with slide out work shelf for extra space

Instructions for use

Maintenance

Can be cleaned and disinfected with a detergent/disinfectant solution for surfaces /non-invasive medical equipment. Prepare use-solution in concentration required. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not mix with other products. Make sure to wet the surfaces completely, use a wipe or towel, keep them wet for the whole exposure time.
