FLOATING RACK for microtubes

Definition

Floating racks are used as a stand for microtubes to thaw, cool and incubate samples at elevated or reduced temperatures.

Instructions for use

Use forceps to place the floating rack in and out of the bath.

MSF requirements

Floating racks are used in HAIN LPA during DNA extraction step. Microtubes containing samples are boiled in water to inactivate mycobacteria.
