MSF requirements

It is used to prepare mycobacterial suspensions, required for Quality Control of new batches of BBL MGIT tubes or to perform Drug Susceptibility Test of isolates from solid media.

​Middlebrook 7H9 with glycerol is also used as a preservation medium for the storage of isolates at <-18ºC.
