  • Peptic digest of animal tissue 10.0 g
  • Lactose 10.0 g
  • Dextrose 1.0 g
  • Sodium chloride 5.0 g
  • Ferric ammonium citrate 0.5 g
  • Sodium thiosulfate 0.5 g

Instructions for use

  • Follow the recommendations of the package insert.
  • Do not use media which are not homogeneous (presence of lumps)
  • Bottles must be correctly sealed with stoppers after use

Precautions for Use

All biological samples must be considered as potentially infectious and handled with the usual precautions (compulsory wearing of gloves, hand washing, etc.)

Storage

  • Follow the recommendations of the manufacturer for the storage.
  • Do not use after expiry date
  • Store in a dry place
  • After preparation, the medium can be stored up to 6 months at 2°C to 8°C

Waste management

After use, sterilize the cultures and all contaminated material. Please contact your watsan referent for advice on proper disposal.
