SAFETY SUBCULTURE UNIT

Definition

The Safety SubCulture Unit is designed to safely transfer positive blood samples from the culture bottle for further testing.

It can be used either directly by piercing the culture bottle septum using the safety tip or by inserting male end of a syringe into female luer of the device.

Specifications

  • Compatible fit with various blood culture bottles
  • White filter cap to limit exposure to gas or culture discharge
  • Needleless which reduces the risk of potential needle stick injury
  • Two procedure options to obtain samples for further testing: drop sample method and syringe method
