SMART GLASSES (Iristick Z1)

Form

Smart glasses with accessories, with the following specifications:

  • very light, powerful and versatile
  • an autonomy of 6 to 8 hours
  • extra handy features, such as flashlight, laser pointing, optical zoom, heads-up display and touch-pad

Fit

The glasses support low-bandwidth connectivity (already starting at 3G) or WiFi.

They should be linked to an MSF smartphone configured with a free mobile application.

Function

The Iristick Z1 smart glasses allow a technician to share in real-time what he/she is seeing (along with duplex audio communication) with another technician/expert working from a distant location (e.g. at MSF HQ).

The glasses allow the user to use both hands, making it a very mobile tool.

The distant technician/expert can simply use a standard web browser (no custom software installation required) to connect to a free Web application allowing to interact with the technician wearing the smart glasses.

These smart glasses will allow remote technical support in real-time, saving field missions a lot of time and money, avoiding expensive and time-consuming on-site travel of remote technicians/experts on many occasions.
