Therapeutic Action
Fixed-dose combination (FDC) of two antihypertensives:
- telmisartan: angiiotensin II receptor blocker
- amlodipine: dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker
Indications
First-line treatment of essential hypertension in adults
Additional treatment in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by amlodipine alone.

Instructions for use
Start with 1 tablet daily, increase to a maximum of 2 tablets daily as needed to achieve a target BP <140/90.
Contact your NCD advisor for adapted protocol.
Precautions for Use
Closely monitor the blood pressure.
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Administer with caution to patients with cholestasis, biliary obstructive disorders or hepatic impairment, renal artery stenosis, aortic or mitral stenosis, or obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HOCM).
