Fit

Used as (or part of) a UHF network. Handsets are compliant with PMR 466 and do not need a radio licence in European Union countries.

Function

Push to-talk (PTT) two-way radio. The operating band is divided into 16 channels. UHF is often employed in areas with many buildings or walls that block VHF (very high frequency) transmission.
