The project will be able to order 2 different type of training models:

  • The Gynecology uterine pelvic (IUD) mannequin were all the different steps of IUD insertion (including placement of a speculum) can be practiced but also other procedures as MVA, insertion of female condoms
  • The handheld IUD training mannequin to practice the IUD insertion technique and it is an easy to carry model.

Instructions for use

This training tool allows to practice insertion and removal of intra-uterine device‌IUD (copper and hormonal) insertion and removal.​

The different steps of an IUD insertion technique (i.e. how to move the plugger etc.) can be practiced and the different insertion technique of a copper and hormonal IUD.
