GENERATOR (FG Wilson P16) 14.5kVA 400V 50Hz 3ph diesel
Definition
The FG Wilson P16 is powered by the Perkins 403A-15G2, 3-cylinder, 4-stroke, water cooled 1500rpm diesel engine. The alternator delivers 400 V at 50 Hz, it is equipped with electronic AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator). The generator is housed in a quiet, durable and weather resistant acoustic enclosure.
Controlled by a control panel DSE4520 with a start/stop button and a single menu layout for ease of navigation, but can also come with an alternative control panel type like for example DeepSea.
A standard version comes with a bunded long range fuel tank, a water heater, a battery charger and 2 wire auto start/stop, but different versions can be specified when ordering.

Transport Dangerous Goods
Generators might be considered as dangerous goods for transport:
- If a shipper or supplier provides written or electronic documentation stating that a flushing and purging procedure for flammable liquid powered engines has been followed in compliance with Special Provision A70 the generator is not subject to IATA DGR regulations
- If not complying with Special Provision A70 then the generator must be managed in compliance to IATA DGR regulations
Instructions for use
For power calculations refer to your technical department .
Do not fill the fuel tank while the engine is running.
For maximum safety and earthing, refer to the MSF guidelines on energy.
Maintenance
The usual maintenance interval is every 250 hours for this type of generator. For certain countries/locations a different maintenance interval might be applicable, check this with your technical department.
