ROOF VENTILATION (SuperEco SS) stainless steel, Ø 300mm

Form

Rotary turbine roof ventilation of stainless steel, for extraction of air and fumes, driven by the force of the wind. Anti-repression, it turns only in one direction, the movement of air is from bottom to top. Per piece.

Fit

Is suitable for all heaters and is positioned outside on a roof, or in the upper part of the flue gas duct, with a Ø de 300 mm.

Function

This roof ventillation works as following:

Wind-powered operation:

  • The turbine' design includes a rotating head with slotted fins or blades. When wind blows over the turbine, it spins, creating a suction effect.
  • This spinning action draws out hot, humid, or stale air from the attic or roof cavity.

Thermal Uplift:

  • Even in the absence of strong wind, the natural rise of warm air (thermal uplift) can cause the turbine to spin slowly, facilitating ventilation.

The roof ventilation can be used to :

Heat reduction

  • Removes hot air that accumulates under the roof, especially during hot weather.
  • Helps reduce the overall temperature of the attic and the building, easing the load on air conditioning systems.

Moisture Control:

  • Prevents the buildup of moisture from activities like cooking, bathing, and washing by allowing humid air to escape.
  • Reduces the risk of mold, mildew, and wood rot caused by trapped moisture.

Energy Efficiency:

  • By reducing heat buildup, it minimizes the use of cooling systems in summer, leading to energy savings.
  • Keeps insulation dry and functional, maintaining its effectiveness in both summer and winter.
