(Boreflow) HOSE delivery, 40 mm

Form

High pressure lay-flat hose with diameter of Ø 40 mm, for use as rising main in a bore hole. It is equipped with cable tighteners to fix a submersible pump's electricity supply wire along the pipe at every metre. Boreflow hoses are inert to corrosion. Closed article: Boreflow. Per metre.

Specifications for Ø 40 mm hose:

  • Theoretical burst pressure: 65 bar
  • Operating pressure: 30 bar
  • Theoretical tensile strength: 3000 kg
  • Weight of boreline: 0.5 kg/m
  • Outer diameter of fitting: 80 mm
  • Weight of fitting: 3 kg
  • Weight of water in hose: 2 kg/m

Fit

For use with submersible pumps as rising main.

Part of:

KWATKPUES5- KIT, PUMP, ELECTRICAL, SUBMERSIBLE (Grundfos SQ 5-70) +cable

Main article in:

KWATMPUES5R (module submersible pump SQ 5-70) RISING MAIN 1½"

Function

Boreflow hoses are used as a rising main to extract water from a borehole as an alternative to galvanised or HDPE pipes. The weight of the submersible pump has to be supported by a safety rope or cable running parallel to the boreline, not by the boreline itself. Submersible pumps should not be supported (hanged) by the boreline. See the technical sheet in kit catalogue for more information.
