Note: there are two repair sets for water tanks:
- CWATTANKFRS: (flexible water tank) REPAIR set
- KWATMTANRT-: (flexible water tank) TEMPORARY REPAIR module.
Repair set CWATTANKFRS (dangerous good)
The set contains:
- 2x GLUE for TANK REPAIR, tube
- 3x (water tank) PVC BLADDER LINING, for repairs, pce
- 1x ROLLER, PAINT, polyester bristles, 18 cm (7")
- 3x CLOTH, EMERY, grain 120, sheet
- 1x Little flat BRUSH, piece
- 1x Instruction LEAFLET, piece
As this repair set contains glue, the set is considered a dangerous good for international cargo. The glue also has a limited shelf life. Because of these two reasons, the repair set is not included as a standard in all kits with bladders and water tanks. The temporary repair module KWATMTANRT-, with strong repair tape, is included in those kits. See also the kit catalogue.
Whenever a temporary repair has been made with KWATMTANRT-, it is recommended to order the standard repair set CWATTANKR1-. Also missions with many water tanks are recommended to order at least one standard repair set.
Instructions for use
- closely follow the instructions included in the set
- do not allow any glue to enter the interior of the water tank being repaired
- allow the glue to fully dry before taking the tank back to use
Precautions for Use
The repair set CWATTANKR1- contains glue and is considered a dangerous good, for international cargo.
