Indications

Antisepsis of intact or broken skin and mucous membranes

Surgical site skin preparation

Wound antisepsis and dressing

Antisepsis of gynaecology site prior delivery, episiotomy, MVA, suture

Antisepsis of urinary site prior urinary catheter insertion

Instructions for use

10% aqueous solution equivalent to 1% free iodine

Allow the solution to dry (minimum contact time of 1 min) to ensure a bactericidal effect.

In case of soiled skin, preparation of the surgical site, large wounds and burns, cleanse the skin previously with polyvidone surgical scrub.

Precautions for Use

Do not use with other antiseptics such as chlorhexidine (incompatibility).

Do not use in neonates.

Storage

  • Below 25°C - Protect from sunlight
  • After opening, use the solution within 30 days (write the date on the bottle).
  • Tightly close the bottle after each use to prevent contamination.
