Specifications
This module contains reusable medical supplies. It is designed for 5 autonomous immunization teams. A jerrycan with tap is foreseen for hand-washing.
IODINE POVIDONE, 10%, is included for the disinfection of the injury and surrounding skin after a needle stick accident. In this case, let the injury bleed, wash immediately with soap and water, rinse and disinfect 5 minutes with iodine povidone. The accident is recorded by following the current procedures.
NB: The iodine povidone is not meant for skin disinfection before vaccination!
The leather working gloves are intended for the handling of the containers during transport and on the sites.
The 10 litres buckets with covers are used to collect the vaccine vials and the solvent vials/ampoules separately. Afterwards they need to be brought to the central waste management site for destruction.
