Long-acting local anaesthetic and analgesic

Indications

Intraoperative regional anaesthesia (wound infiltration)

Instructions for use

Must be given as wound infiltration at incision sire, at closure.

The solution must be clear and free of visible particles

Levobupivacaine has similar anaesthetic and analgesic properties to bupivacaine, with fewer adverse effects.

Precautions for Use

Levobupivacaine should be administered only by, or under the responsibility of, a physician with appropriate experience in anaesthesia and airway management.

Adequate resuscitation equipment should be available.

Storage

  • Below 25ºC
  • After opening, use immediately
  • Discard any unused remaining solution.
