Combinaison of two monophasic contraceptives: oestrogen (ethinylestradiol) and progestogen (levonorgestrel)
Indications
Instructions for use
- 0.03 mg ethinylestradiol = 30 µg ethinylestradiol
- 0.15 mg levonorgestrel = 150 µg levonorgestrel
The 28-tablets blister allows a better compliance:
- 21 active tablets of 0.03 mg ethinylestradiol + 0.15 mg levonorgestrel
- 7 inactive tablets (inactive hormone tablets containing ferrous salts are also accepted)
1 tablet to be taken every day at the same time.
Follow the recommendations of the national programme or the local customs.
The quantity to be ordered is calculated per blister (= one treatment), not per tablet.
Precautions for Use
COCs can be used during breastfeeding, but it is recommended to wait until at least 6 weeks after delivery before starting them (risk of blood clots).
