Definition

A cart that contains a variety of equipment, anaesthetic agents, and other supplies that are readily available to the anaesthetist in order to meet the diverse needs of patients in scheduled procedures as well as in emergencies.

The trolley (cart) has a work surface that can be easily cleaned and that provides an area to display equipment (e.g., laryngoscope and blades, endotracheal (ET) tubes, stethoscopes).

This wheeled cart has drawers, shelves, and compartments with doors that are organized to hold individual drugs, devices, and instruments.

Maintenance

Must be cleaned and disinfected with a detergent/disinfectant solution for surfaces / non-invasive medical equipment. Prepare use-solution in concentration required. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not mix the with other products. Make sure to wet surfaces completely, use a wipe or towel, keep them wet for the whole exposure time.
