SCISSORS, trauma

Definition

Robust pair of scissors intended to be used to cut bandages and cloth. The distal end of the blades are different shapes and are rounded for safety; one blade extends in front of the other and has an olive tip that is placed under the bandage, minimising the risk of injuring the patient . This is a reusable device.
