Instructions for use

Always inquire about local authorizations to be obtained.

NEVER transmit (push the PTT button) without an antenna connected.

The station can function either on voice mode or on DATA mode, but not both at the same time. If both functions are necessary, a strict timetable must be set up, alternating the standby between the 2 modes.

Any wide band antenna allows both communication modes. But if the DATA communications are of bad quality, you should consider buying a single frequency directional HF antenna, or a D2T antenna.

Beware of the skip zone: possible difficult transmission for some distances under 250 km.

For any problem related to signal quality, installation or antenna selection (bad SWR, skip zone, orientation), please contact your technical department.
