Flexible 32m³ tank welded mesh frame, used for the storage, sedimentation and flocculation of large volumes of water. Suitable for large refugee population, in emergencies or short to mid–term programmes.

KIT

• 1 mesh wall, 4mm galvanized wire. 75mm x 75 mm apertures, 1.5m high.
• 1 wall protector, 1mm thick LDPE sheet 1.50m wide x 16.49 long.
• 1 grey PVC liner, minimum 0.55mm thick, non-toxic, suitable for potable water, is not affected by chlorinated water, UV stabilized.
• 1 ground sheet, minimum diameter 5.25m.
• 1 inlet (3'') with threaded joints at the top of the reservoir. Inlet has to be fitted in the field.
• 3 outlets (3''), with threaded joints situated at the bottom of the reservoir complete with valve and nylon adaptor. Outlet has to be fitted in the field.
• 1 drain (1''), with threaded joints situated at the bottom of the reservoir complete with valve and nylon adaptor. Mounted on the same plate as an outlet.
• 1 overflow (1'') , with threaded joints and valve
• 1 repair Kit with 250m adhesive, 7 x A4 patches grey PVC, 4 sheets sand paper, scissors and instructions in English, French and Portuguese.
• 1 tool kit: screwdriver, rachet, sockets nº.8, 17 and 19, shovel, spirit level, pickaxe

This tank is ideal for sedimentation and/or flocculation. Water should ideally be transferred into another tank before chlorination, and distribution.

The tank should be installed on an even, stable and horizontal earth platform.

In an area with a lot of wind, it will be necessary to secure the tank against movement during storms. Tie a few ropes from the poles to pegs in the ground.

When installing on top of an earth embankment, ensure stability with a low gradient and a dense grass or stone cover on embankment slopes.
