Form

Steel shackles combined to fit around an automotive tyre. Usually with a specific system to ensure correct fit around the tyre so it can be used whilst driving. Open article. Per 1 set for 1 axle

Fit

Fits the standard Toyota Land Cruiser tyres/rim combinations. These are tyre sizes 7.50x16 or 235/85 R 16.

Function

  • Snow chains, or tyre chains, are devices fitted to the tyres of vehicles to provide maximum traction when driving through snow and ice. Laws vary considerably regarding the legality of snow chain use. Some countries require them in certain snowy conditions or during certain months of the year, while other countries prohibit their use altogether to preserve road surfaces.
  • Please make sure the chains are correctly fitted to prevent damage to suspension / brake system. Recommended to tighten a second time after driving a short distance and checking for tightness from time to time.
