Form
Assembled fitting consisting of a non-return valve with a sieve on one end, and a 1” 1/2 or ND40 Guillemin coupling on the other end.
Assembly, per piece.
Fit
To be connected to a 1"1/2 or ND40 suction pipe. For use with motor pump for extracting raw surface water (rivers, ponds, or tanks).
Recommended to use with CWATPLUMF2R (float) in order to keep unit from touching bottom of source reservoir.

Function
Used with surface pumps at the beginning of the suction hose (in the raw water intake).
Functions are to prevent 1) debris or leaves entering the pump at intake level and 2) the water leaving the suction hose once the pump is primed.
Use a float to prevent strainer from touching bottom mud and becoming clogged.
