Treatment of envenomations from snakes bite found in sub-Saharan Africa:

  • West African carpet viper (Echis ocellatus)
  • Puff adder (Bitis‌ arietans)
  • Black-necked spitting cobra (Naja nigricollis)

Instructions for use

10 ml vial in liquid form

Must be given as IM injection or IV infusion (after dilution in 0.9% NaCl).

The minimum dose in case of envenomation is 4 vials.

Precautions for Use

Appropriate medical treatment should always be readily available in case of anaphylactic reactions following the administration of the product.

Storage

  • Keep refrigerated between 2ºC and 8ºC.
  • Do not freeze.
  • After opening, use the product immediately.
