Indications

Generator Module:

  • Type : Yanmar Eg140i
  • Stand-by power: 11 kVA
  • Prime power: 10.2 kVA
  • Rated voltage: 240 V
  • Number of phases: single phase, 2 wires
  • Rated frequency: 50 Hz
  • Rated current: 44.4 A
  • RPM : variable: 2300 – 3400
  • Weight : 280 kg (generator only)
  • MTBF : 5000 hour
  • Service interval: 250 hour
  • Electric protections:
    • Main plug : 50 A magneto-thermic circuit-breaker
    • Auxiliary plug: 16 A magnetothermic circuit-breaker + 30 mA Residual Current Device
    • Output power is stabilised by inverters which ensure the quality of the signal, eliminating the need for stabilisers and voltage limiters downstream.
  • Carrying bars included, allowing the transport of the generator by 6/8 persons, at 35/45 kg per person.
  • Optional external fuel supply kit included. Refer to the included Logbook for installation instructions. Note: the external tank is not included and needs to be sourced locally. A 40 cm diameter cover is included.
  • Integrated hourly meter.
  • This module can be ordered separately for replacement of a generator or use in an already existing electrical network. Caution: in this case the downstream electrical network must be controlled (electrical protection, grounding). In this case, the module is delivered with a male plug “Marechal” type.
  • Emergency lighting 2 x 18 W with 1 hour autonomy is included for the generator shelter.
  • Grounding kit is automatically included.

10 kVA remote site electrical distribution module:

  • Module intended for the deployment of an external power grid in a remote site, with magnetothermic and residual current device to protect the people.
  • Comes with 6 extensions cords ending with 3 Schuko / European Format socket (2 x 20 m + 4 x40 m).
  • Generator cable length: 15 m
  • Outputs: 4 x 16 A sockets CEE 16 A 3P
  • 2x 10 A, 16 A NF outlets
  • Extension: 4 x 40 m, with 3 16 A NF outlets
  • 2 x 20 m, with 3 16 A NF outlets
  • Protection: 4 x 16 A + 2 x 10 A magnetothermic
  • 30 mA Residual Current Device

Maintenance module 5000 hour:

  • contains oil-, air- and fuel filters, fan, V-belts, etc… for 5000 operating hours
  • note: contains oil for only 6 first services (1500 hours): local supply for the next services

Instructions for use

Consult your technical department for power calculations.

For maximum security and grounding/earthing connection, refer to the MSF energy guidelines or the included logbook.

Lifetime: 5000 hours, maintenance every 250 hours.

A specific LogBook / fuel follow-up for this model is included with the generator module as well as an autonomous lighting system for night refuelling.

Transport Dangerous Goods

Generators might be considered as dangerous goods for transport:

  • If a shipper or supplier provides written or electronic documentation stating that a flushing and purging procedure for flammable liquid powered engines has been followed in compliance with Special Provision A70 the generator is not subject to IATA DGR regulations
  • If not complying with Special Provision A70 then the generator must be managed in compliance to IATA DGR regulations
