Instructions for use

Must be given as deep IM injection.

It is recommended to order biperiden (or trihexyphenidyl) together with fluphenazine, to be given in the event of extrapyramidal disorders.

Precautions for Use

Do not administer in children under 18 months of age.

Do not prescribe long-acting antipsychotic for prompt control of acute psychotic symptom.
