The Emergency Room is composed of 2 parts:
- EMERGENCY ROOM, PART medical equipment - KMEDKHEE1CO
- EMERGENCY ROOM, PART medicines & renewable supplies - KMEDKHES2CO
Indications
The Emergency room is one of the 6 main activity focal points of the Hospital kit.
The support activities of Sterilisation and Pharmacy are mandatory at one of the 6 main activity focal points of the hospital.
The 2 parts of the Emergency Room are designed for 300 patients and 4 beds/boxes:
- General emergencies: medical, surgical, gynaecological/obstetric, and paediatric cases
- Patients receive only the initial dose of treatment (it is not an outpatient department - OPD)
- Patients are rapidly referred to a hospital ward for further care
- A medical doctor trained in the management of complex emergencies must be present at all times.

- All mandatory modules are regrouped under a single code for ordering this part: KMEDKHES2CO - EMERGENCY ROOM, PART medicines & renewable supplies, complete
- All optional modules and/or items of this part, must be ordered separately. They are NOT automatically sent with the kit.
- For items identified as choice, it is mandatory to order one of the two proposed choices: either the English version or the French version of the Library KIT.
