Fit
This padlocking device fits to the Schneider Acti9 MCB's, iC60, iID, iDPN Vigi and iSW-NA.
Function
The lock out system is used to padlock the MCB in open or closed position. Used to lockout circuit breakers or circuit boards safely, therefore preventing accidental switch on. Electricians would use a lockout whilst making repairs to ensure power cannot be supplied or accidentally switched on to the area of repair, these are available in a range of different types and parts. A lockout or MCB padlock can prevent shocks or extreme injury that would result from someone prematurely reactivating a circuit.
The locking in ON position does not prevent tripping of the breaker in the event of faults.
