A manually-operated, adjustable table designed to support a woman's body in an appropriate position during labour and delivery and in other examination/treatment procedures related to pregnancy.

  • Welded Epoxy coated steel tubular frame
  • High density coated vinyl foam cushions (ideally 25 kg/m³):
    • covered with fire-retardant, cleanable upholstery (laminated fabric class 1 IM cover)
    • thickness: 5 cm

    • Welded seams to avoid liquid migration, and placed under the tubular frame whenever possible.
  • 3 jointed sections:
    • back rest , with adjustable sitting angle
    • seat with adjustable Trendelenburg's position. Demi-curved cushion with a large radio to facilitate body liquids collection.
    • entirely foldaway or removable leg rest that can be used simultaneously with the foot rest
    • foot rest accessory (ref. C110806) to let the patient push. Made on rubber and metal structure that is fixed to the frame by an hexagonal tube and a wheel. Adjustable in height and width.

Instructions for use

Protect the cushions with a surgical drape and a rubber drawsheet (see related articles below).

Place the table on a level floor.

The gas strut allowing the Trendelenburg's position is easily replaceable in case of breakdown.

Maintenance

After each use, the metal frame and the cushions must be cleaned and disinfected with a detergent/disinfectant solution for surfaces /non-invasive medical equipment. Prepare use-solution in concentration required. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not mix with other products. Make sure to wet the surfaces completely, use a wipe or towel, keep them wet for the whole exposure time.
