Function

Potable tap water is first treated with a Progard® pack, and then purified by reverse osmosis (RO) to produce RO Type 3 water. This water enters the Elix® electrodeionization module, where ion-exchange resins are continuously regenerated by a small electrical field. This process requires only small amounts of water and energy, with no need for external chemical regeneration of the resin beads.
