Indications

Status epilepticus in adults

Second-line treatment of seizures in children over two years of age.

Instructions for use

Must be given as slow IV injection (3 to 5 minutes) or IV infusion using a separate IV line in 0.9% NaCl.

Precautions for Use

Do not administer by IM route (risk of local necrosis).

Avoid in children under 2 years of age, children with severe liver disease and women of childbearing age.

Avoid during pregnancy.

  • Below 25°C
  • Do not freeze.
  • After dilution, use the solution immediately.
