  • Brain heart, infusion from (solids) 6 g
  • Peptic digest of animal tissue 6 g
  • Pancreatic digest of gelatin 14.5 g
  • Dextrose 3 g
  • Sodium chloride 5 g
  • Disodium phosphate 2.5 g

Precautions for Use

All biological samples must be considered as potentially infectious and handled with the usual precautions (compulsory wearing of gloves, hand washing, etc.)

Storage

  • Follow the recommendations of the manufacturer for the storage
  • Keep dry
  • Use before the expiry date
  • Store prepared medium up to 6 months between 2°C and 8°C

Waste management

After use, sterilize the cultures and all contaminated material. Please contact your watsan referent for advice on proper disposal.
