CHARGER-INVERTER (Victron Multiplus) 48V/3000W + cabl.

Definition

The Victron Multiplus charger-inverter 48 V, 35 A, 3000 VA is a combination of an 48 V, 3000W inverter and a battery charger. The integrated battery charger provides up to 35 A charge current which allows quick charging even for bigger batteries as long as there is an AC input.

The 48 V sine inverter converts the DC battery voltage into 230V AC. Due to a pure sine wave this inverter is also suitable for sensitive electronic devices.
An integrated relay switches over from AC input to inverter output. And it switches back when power is restored at the input. The whole process is controlled fully automatic.

Features:

  • true sine wave inverter
  • adaptive charging, 3-stage (bulk, absorption and float)
  • PowerAssist with overload prevention of a limited AC source and AC power boost with power taken from the battery
  • offline UPS configurable, i.e. short switch over time (20 milliseconds) and a true sine wave output
  • virtual unlimited power in parallel operation of multiple Multiplus
  • 3-phase system configurable with 3 Multiplus devices
  • remote monitoring and control, connection with VRM portal from Victron

Instructions for use

Read the Victron manual carefully before installation and operation. Additional technical documentation, including backup sizing guidelines.

Configuration of the MultiPlus is performed via the VE.Bus communication interface. For configuration using a computer, an MK3-USB interface is required together with Victron configuration software (e.g., VEConfigure).

Through the VE.Bus interface, the MultiPlus can be connected to a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX) and other Victron components. This enables advanced system integration, intelligent control, and monitoring.

When connected to a GX device and the Internet, the system can be monitored and controlled remotely via the Victron VRM Portal.

Additional firmware-based functions, called “Assistants”, can be configured using Victron software. These include programmable relay logic, automatic generator start/stop, ESS (Energy Storage System) functionality, and solar integration.
