Definition

SumiShield 50WG is a water dispersible granule indoor residual spray (IRS) product containing 50% clothianidin

Insecticide with a particularly effective mode of action against many species of mosquitoes that have already developed resistance to one or all the major classes of insecticides currently available, or in combination with pyrethrinoid treated nets.

Efficient against anopheles mosquitoes (malaria carrier) but not against aedes mosquitoes (dengue).

Persistence up to 6 months

Instructions for use

Dilute a 150g sachet of SumiShield 50WG in 7.5 litres of water and apply to a vertical surface of 250 m 2. Pressurize the sprayer to 4 bar (58 psi). During spraying, the regulator shuts down when the pressure drops below 1.5 bar: in this case, re-pressurize the sprayer.

Storage

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Keep away from food

• Store at temperatures not exceeding 35°C

​• Store in a ventilated room (with 2 air intake, one at the bottom and one at the top of the room)

Waste management

DO NOT THROW REMAINING OF INSECTICIDE SOLUTION WITHIN LATRINES!

Rather adapt daily producted quantities to the planned consumption.

Expired insecticides require HTI as destruction method limiting the impact on the environment.
