HALF-MASK, respirator, bayonet connection filter

Form

Mask for respiratory protection, covering the lower half of the face (nose-mouth-chin), equipped with a filter to protect the wearer against gases, vapours and particles. The filters are fixed by means of a bayonet connection.

Fit

Reusable half-mask with exchangeable filters and adjustable straps for flexible adjustment.

  • Weight: ± 300 gram.
  • Easy to put on.
  • One size fits all.

The different filters are protecting against different hazardous substances to an ascending extent:

  • Filter A1 - Protection against organic gases and vapours, boiling point > 65 °C
  • Filter P2 - Protection against particles, filters at least 94 %
  • Filter P3 - Protection against particles, filters at least 99.95 %

Filters can only be attached by bayonet coupling.

Function

Only put on and take off the mask in contaminant free environment.

Always use all straps provided, making sure they are correctly positioned and adjusted.

The duration of use will depend on a number of factors:

  • concentration of the contaminant
  • respiratory rhythm of the user
  • ambient temperature and humidity

A bad smell indicates that the mask is perforated.

  • Report all complaints or health problems even if there is no obvious connection with work:
    • itchy skin and rashes
    • strange smell or taste
    • respiratory problems
  • Remember to close the filters after use!

Clean after use following the manufacturer's advice and store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
