TEMPERATURE DETECTOR (Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200 GSM) -20 +70

Form

The Mobeye CM4200 is a remote temperature monitoring device that uses a GSM network SIM card to send and receive alarm messages.

Fit

A Mobeye CM4200 includes the following items:

1. Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200. Dimensions (94 x 94 x 28 mm) Qty: 1

2. Temperature sensor, 1m long cable, round. Qty: 1

3. Power adapter, 12VDC (500mA). Qty: 1

4. CR123A Lithium battery. Qty: 2

5. Mobeye SIM card (inactivate). Qty: 1

6. Flat extension cable, 1m long. Qty: 1

7. User manual

Notes:

a. The minimum items needed to set up and start using the CM2200 is the Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200, the 1m long round sensor cable, a local SIM card and two CR123A lithium batteries. This will allow the CM4200 to be programmed using text messages as explained in the user manual.

b. The flat extension cable is useful to minimise deforming the fridge seal/gasket, comparing with the round cable the sensor is attached to.

c. The power adapter is recommended to extend the life of the batteries from 1 year to 3 years, and if you want to use the 'power failure alarm' feature of the Mobeye CM4200.

d. Using the Mobeye SIM card included with this product is optional. It should be tested on one Mobeye CM4200 in your mission if this has not already been done, as it may not work in all countries. Discuss with your LogCo who can ask the LogCell/LogFO or cold chain advisor for advice. Once the Mobeye SIM is activated it allows additional functionality via a Mobeye portal. The user can see a dashboard showing the status & settings, make changes to settings via the portal instead of text message and some more additional features. A temperature V time graph is not available with the CM4200, only the CML4255 (2 sensor model) when using Mobeye SIM.

e. When using a local SIM card the 2G network is used. The Mobeye must then be programmed by sending SMS messages (see user manual) and the Mobeye portal is not accessible.

Function

The Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200 is used for remote temperature monitoring by setting lower and upper limits. When the temperature sensor detects a temperature outside these limits an alarm message is sent to the contact(s).

The device can be fully battery powered. When the power adapter is used the batteries give back-up power in the event of a power cut.

The built-in communication module can connect to the 4G LTE-M and the 2G network (back-up).

Sensor accuracy: 0.5°C between -30 °C and +55 °C, 1 °C outside these limits.
