WATER FILTER (Faircap) 0.01µm, for household

Form

This household (or family) filter is easy to use and a low-cost device. It is composed of:

  • The cartridge filter
  • Silicone Gaskets
  • Plastic Nuts
  • Silicone hoses
  • Silicone Pump and an opening/closing valve.

Weight: 250 gr.

Dimensions: 25 cm x 18 cm x 4.5 cm.

Fit

The filter can easily be adapted to plastic containers as it comes with a hand tool to easily make holes in plastic containers. However, it does not come with the plastic containers themselves.

Function

With a membrane with a pore size of 0,01µm, the filter shall remove turbidity, bacteria, protozoa and viruses. Virus level removal goes to 99%. It can produce 5 to 10 litres per hour, to a total of 5000 litres (or a 1-year life span), but these numbers depend on the quality of the incoming water and the daily use.

The filter cannot remove salinity or dissolved organic compounds.
