This machine is replacing the Polymobil Plus and the Mobiliett XP of Siemens which is no longer produced.

The most appropriate X-ray equipment will depend on the specific project requirements.

Before ordering an x-ray unit, please contact the Diagnostic Imaging Working Group (diagnostic-network@msf.org) for advice, and to discuss radiation safety requirements, human resources requirements, servicing and necessary accessory equipment.

Definition

The Agfa DR100e is a mobile x-ray unit suitable for general hospital based x-ray applications and is used in combination with the AgfaCR10X.

It is usually not reccommended as the primary choice in a hospital based setting (see fixed options WHISRAD and MULTIRAD) unless engineer installation is not possible. It is also not the preferred model to be moved around a hospital as it requires constant line power to operate. It is mandatory to protect the device with a double conversion UPS (see related articles below).
