PADLOCK, Ø6.6 mm, non-conductivity, short shackle + key
Form
A red non-conductive safety lockout padlock with a key. The non-conductive lock body and shackle protect against electrical hazards. The key-retention feature means that the key cannot be removed from the padlock when open. Has a shackle diameter 0.26" (6.5 mm). Per piece.
Fit
Suitable to be used with a circuit breaker lockout, plug lockout, switch lockout, or multiple lockout device.
Function
Used to lock out power without the risk of an elecrical shock. The non-conductive padlock will keep the engery source points locked and improve safety.
Lockout is a safety procedure used to ensure that electrical installations and equipment is properly shut off and not able to be started up again before the completion of maintenance or repai rwork. This prevents accidental switching on an electrical circuit or equipment while an electrician is working on it.
