Form

Plug lockout device made out of non-conductive polycarbonate. Per piece.

Fit

Suitable for a wide range of sizes of individual plugs with wholes in a blade. Accommodates padlocks with shackle lengths of 38.10mm or greater. Must be used with a non-conductive lock-out padlock.

Function

Plug lockouts are a simple solution for electric equipment lockout procedures. Used to prevent that electrical plugs from being inserted into a wall outlet. This plug lockout device in particular ensures a plug can't be connected before the electrician finish the maintenance works.

Lockout is a safety procedure used to ensure that electrical installations and equipment is properly shut off and not able to be started up again before the completion of maintenance or repairwork. This prevents accidental switching on an electrical circuit or equipment while an electrician is working on it.
