AMBULANCE medicalized 4x4 (HZJ78/GDJ78)
Definition
Medicalised ambulance based on an MSF standard vehicle type HZJ78/GDJ78.
The essential part of the conversion consists of the integration of a cell giving space to a functional arrangement and the separation of the steering cabine. The concept and composition of it all allows for a proper cleaning and desinfection of the cell.
The cell or ambulance unit is exclusively intended for medical use.
Capacity of the medical unit:
- Transport of a patient lying on a stretcher.
- Two seats, one for a medical staff member and another for an eventual accompanying passenger.
Capacity in the steering cabin:
- seats for the driver + 2 places
Different levels of medical equipment are defined to allow the stabilisation of the patient, if needed.
Following the example of a standard vehicle, the ambulance incorporates the standard preparation of a vehicle by your technical department, such as the roof, spare wheel(s), hi-lift jack, etc.
Description:
Medical compartment:

- Additional battery of 12 V - 55AH OPTIMA installed parallel for the power supply of the equipment in the medical compartment.
- Starter battery replaced by a 55AH OPTIMA battery.
- Relay with voltage threshold to avoid a complete discharge of the starter battery.
Optional equipment and installations:
- A converter 12 volt - 230 volt
