Definition
The K30UM is a compact diesel generator set built by Kohler‑SDMO. It uses a turbocharged Kohler KDI2504TM‑30 four‑cylinder engine coupled with a brushless alternator to produce stable 208/120 V at 60 Hz.
The generator is housed in a weather‑resistant M137 sound‑attenuated enclosure with antivibration mounts and an integrated 100 L fuel tank.
A digital APM303 control panel (manual or automatic) monitors voltage, frequency and key engine parameters. It offers reliable standby and prime power for sites requiring low noise, high starting capacity and easy transport.

If a supplier certifies that the engine has been flushed and purged of flammable liquids in accordance with Special Provision A70, the generator is not subject to IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Without this certification, it must be shipped in full compliance with IATA DGR procedures.
