Instructions for use
Must be given as slow IV injection.
Never administer by IM or SC route.
Precautions for Use
Due to the high toxicity and numerous adverse effects, patients must be treated in hospital settings, under close medical supervision.
Propyleneglycol (melarsoprol solvent) corrodes plastic. Single-use syringes should therefore be prepared just before giving injections.
Contraindicated during pregnancy.
