Indications

Reagents for microscopy in a laboratory for Ziehl-Neelsen staining

Specifications

This module contains the reagents necessary for the staining of bacilli of M. tuberculosis or M. leprae.

The Ziehl-Neelsen staining uses the Ziehl fuchsin solution.

Alternatively the staining can also be done using Auramine: contact your laboratory referent for more information.

Xylene is included for cleaning the slides.

It is used to complete/refill the KMEDMLAB121 and KMEDMLAB113 modules.
