Definition

This set contains all the necessary instruments for checking and repairing cervical tears or deep vaginal tears.

The forceps of Museux were preferred to the forceps of Pozzi that are less firm holdingwise and can cut a fragile uterine cervix.

The set allows choosing between the vaginal retractor of Auvard and the vaginal speculum of Sims. The vaginal retractor of Doyen can be ordered separately.

For the repair of 3rd and 4th degree high cervicovaginal tears, the perineal retractor of Gelpi can be ordered separately (see related articles below).

Instructions for use

Should be available in every delivery room.

In case of postpartum haemorrhage, the cervix and the uterus need to be checked with a vaginal retractor and long instruments.
