Administer the medicine slowly to avoid the risk of choking,


Clean with water and soap between two uses.

MSF requirements

Oral syringes have a specific (non-Luer) tip that makes it impossible to connect with a hypodermic needle, thus avoiding accidental injection of oral medicines.

The colour of the syringe (barrel) makes it easy to distinguish them from syringes for injection.
